Care Plus Group expands into care home sector with purchase of Fairways

Local community health and social care provider Care Plus Group (CPG) is pleased to announce that it is now the owner of its first care home, Fairways on Little Coates Road, Grimsby.

The development sees CPG expand into the care home sector in a move that links closely to its core work of providing health and care services to those in need in the community.

Jane Miller, Chief Executive said:

“We’re delighted to now be the owners of Fairways Care Home and will continue to provide high quality care for the residents.

“This is an exciting development for our organisation as it expands the range of services we provide, whilst also being complimentary to our core provision. As part of our business development strategy we have acquired three new businesses over the past couple of years – Open Door, Quayside and Linwood House and are now pleased to be welcoming Fairways to the Group. Open Door and Quayside are local GP Practices offering specialist services to the East Marsh and wider North East Lincolnshire communities and Linwood House is a specialist residential detoxification and rehabilitation substance misuse unit based in Barnsley.”

“As an employee owned social business we provide community health and care services for adults of all ages across North East Lincolnshire. Established in 2011, Care Plus Group provides services such as community nursing, day services for older people and people with disabilities, intermediate care at home and the health and wellbeing collaboratives.”
