Crash: Support for Homeless People

The construction and property industries’ charity for homeless people provides support to organisations in England and Wales that help homeless people.

CRASH offers:

Professional expertise, CRASH can assist by offering free of charge professional expertise and advice sourced from  Patron companies to help you develop your project. This can include a number of professions and areas of specialism within the industry – from architects, quantity surveyors, project managers to specialist engineers. The earlier you involve CRASH the more they are likely to be able to contribute.

2) Building materials free of charge from Patron or supporting suppliers

3) Cash Grants CRASH give small cash grants, ranging from £5,000 – £50,000. It is important to CRASH that they enhance any cash grant by contributing in the other ways described above, but they also understand that there will be some cases where charities need a small amount of funds to help them complete a discrete job within their building. They work collaboratively with charities on all of the projects they support.

If you are a homelessness charity or a hospice charity and would like assistance with your building project please contact CRASH on 0208 742 0717 or email to discuss your project. .

To be eligible for support, organisations must be registered charities, have legal hold on the building in question and the building must be used to deliver services to homeless people or a high percentage of people who are homeless or be related to the charity’s administrative functions.

Applications throughout the year.
