Charity Golf Day, Grimsby
September 25 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
YMCA Humber are holding a Charity Golf Day on Monday 25 September to raise funds to provide a new minibus to support over 100 young people in their three housing projects in Grimsby, as well as many more in local communities around the Humber Region through the charity’s youth service provision.
Entries are now open for the event, with tee times set to take place between 12 noon and 2 pm, and will consist of 22 teams taking part in a tournament around the picturesque Waltham Windmill course with prizes for first, second and third place in the competition, as well as spot competitions on the third, ninth and 17th holes. During the event, a raffle is held and, after the golf, there will be the prize giving and an auction.
The cost is £120 per team of four and mixed teams or ladies’ teams are more than welcome. For the £120 fee, teams will receive their round of golf and fish and chips after their round, with tea and coffee served throughout the day.
The Golf Day will be held under Stableford format with full handicaps, which are 28 for men and 36 for ladies. In addition, there will be prizes on the ninth and 17th holes for nearest the pin and for the longest drive on hole three.
