R&D fund for health and wellbeing projects – a workshop

March 20 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

  • Are you a community organisation working with Hull’s communities?
  • Are you a researcher or clinician interested in health and wellbeing in Hull?
  • Are you an artist who’d like to collaborate with others in the city?

Hull 2017 and Wellcome invite you to a workshop to launch a small research and development fund for creative projects exploring health and wellbeing in Hull.

The workshop will take place at the Medical Education Centre at Hull Royal Infirmary

The workshop will bring together community groups, health researchers and artists to engage with issues of common interest and explore ways of working together.

There will be a chance to hear from others who have worked on similar projects before and also to meet potential partners for developing your own project.

This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Hull 2017 and Wellcome Public Engagement Development Grant, which will offer development grants (of £1,000-£4,000) to a small group of projects in the city that aim to explore health and wellbeing in creative and innovative ways.

If you’d like to join us for the workshop and find about more about the fund please respond to rsvp@hull2017.co.uk  by noon on Friday 10th March giving your name, e-mail, telephone number and area of interest

To help you connect with potential project partners, they intend to share the information you provide with others that are attending the workshop and with Wellcome. If you do not wish your contact details to be shared please state this in your RSVP response.
