Foredyke Green project – volunteers needed!

Kingswood Residents Association are looking for green-fingered volunteers to help with their first tree planting event, as part of the development of a new community woodland and nature area at Wilberforce Woods/Foredyke Green (see page 2 of the attached Hull CC newsletter for the initial plan of the site).

The event will take place on Tuesday 14th March, starting at 10.30am and running until 2.30pm.  The tree planting will take place around the pond area on Foredyke Green, which is located directly behind the new Home Bargains store on the corner of Bude Road, Wawne Road, opposite Kingswood Academy.

Volunteers should wear boots or wellies. If you can bring your own gloves and spade that’s great, although some tools and gloves will be provided.

If you are interested in getting involved in this exciting project, please email kingswoodra@gmail.com

EMS Ltd are supporting this project and will be bringing a minibus of volunteers to help out on planting day. There are a few spare seats on the minibus so if you would like picking up and dropping off please contact Andy on 710177 or andrew@emsyorkshire.co.uk
