Goodwin’s Fareshare project needs volunteers

FareShare Hull & Humber redistributes surplus food from the food industry to more than 65 organisations throughout the region, with more signing up every day to become Community Food Members (CFMs). This means that the network of CFMs is now feeding more than 5,000 people who are directly affected by food poverty.

They are looking for:

Fare Share Warehouse Volunteers

As Warehouse Volunteer you will be required to assist in the day-to-day operation of the FareShare warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring that stock in the warehouse is of good quality, properly stored and available for delivery to Community Food Members.  You may also at times act as a driver’s mate and assist the delivery drivers to distribute produce to Community Food Members.

Fare Share Delivery Driver

As a delivery driver you will be the first contact between FareShare Hull and the Community Food Members. You will be responsible for safely transporting frozen, chilled and other goods around the Hull area. With a pleasant disposition and a positive attitude, you will help to provide an efficient and timely service.
