DLA Reform Consultation Response: nbf
This document aims to present the different responses to the Department of Work and Pensions consultation paper on Disability Living Allowance (DLA) reform gathered at a consultation event on the 20th January 2011.
North Bank Forum (NBF) invited its Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) membership, partners, carers and disabled people to help them respond to the twenty two specific questions outlined in the governments’ consultation document.
The document sets out each question and then presents the different debates and comments made by respondents.
Where respondents are making similar statements and presenting similar ideas these have been grouped together.
Where possible, people’s own words have been used in quotes in an effort to present the breadth and depth of responses on the day.
