Published on 16th September, this is a report from the Audit Commission of an inspection of East Riding of Yorkshire Council's climate change strategy.
According to the report East Riding of Yorkshire Council's climate change strategy is 'fair' with 'promising prospects for improvement'. Inspectors found that, after a slow start, the Council is working hard to tackle the impact of climate change, although there has been limited engagement with the local community and businesses. It is also unclear whether the strategy represents good value for money.
