Humber Sports Partnership Club Development Toolkit

The Humber Sports Volunteer Group has developed the Online Club Development Toolkit which aims to up skill, grow and sustain emerging, developing and established community sport clubs.

The toolkit is structured to offer comprehensive support to clubs and is designed to aid development from ‘Start Up’ to ‘Accreditation’, providing clubs with a ‘one stop shop’ for all development information.

The toolkit was officially signed off for use by the HSP Executive Board meeting 26th October 2010 and can be accessed on the Humbersport website 

The online resource is split into the following sections and gives support on:

  1. Key Contacts: Local Authority, Schools, and Volunteer Centre contacts
  2. Starting a Club: Constitution, Governance, Membership, Insurance, Policies and Finances
  3. National Governing Bodies: NGB contacts and Development Group information
  4. Club Development Plans: Current club position, where do you want to be and achieving it
  5. Funding Information: Applying for funding, Sources of funding, LA grants
  6. Facilities: Local Authority support and Sport England support
  7. Training and Development: Courses for All, Coaching Humber, UK Coaching Framewor
  8. Volunteers: Step into Sport, runningsports, role outlines and NEL Inspire programme
  9. School Club Links: School Sport Partnerships and making that link
  10. Making your Club Inclusive: EFDS Health check and key links
  11. Marketing Information: Promoting Sport Toolkit and other resources
  12. Club Accreditation: Clubmark and local authority accreditation
