Marie Curie have several opportunities for volunteers to get involved and raise money for their local Marie Curie Nursing service. All money raised will support people and families living with a terminal illness, in their own homes.
Collection Box Coordinator
They are looking for someone to look after and increase collection tin sites in HU7,8 & 9. Collection tins raise a large amount of money for Marie Curie and also raise the awareness of the services locally. They are looking for someone that knows the area well to find new collection tins sites and to count and bank any money from existing tins in the area.
Marie Curie have been given permission to collect at North Point Shopping Centre in Bransholme on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th March this year as part of their Great Daffodil Appeal. As well as looking for volunteers to help collect in the centre, they are seeking someone who would be able to host the collections. This involves being there on the day to meet and greet collectors and make sure they have all the kit they need to have a successful collection. It would also involve counting and banking any money raised.
If you would like to find out more about the roles above or would like to know how to get involved in fundraising for Marie Curie please call Natalie on 01904 755260 or email email@example.com.
