SAFE peer support

Run by Creative Start Arts, this group provides long term support and opportunities for those affected by addictive behaviour. A safe environment where members can speak openly without fear, stigma or being judged. Bringing together people with similar experiences and giving them the opportunity to help each other manage and overcome issues and build a network of support.

SAFE runs alongside their art workshops, community projects and is the first stage of support within the CREATivE stART programme. All meetings are discussion based and chaired by experienced recovery mentors.

They promote the use of every means available to aid recovery and wellbeing, and aim to signpost members to all other areas of support.

You can contact them  confidentially at or call 01472 315 949 / 07511 875 707

The group meets on Mondays 7pm -9pm at Cromwell Road fire station and for now on Thursdays 7pm – 9pm at UNIT 5 Granville street.
