Deadline 31st January 2018
The Paristamen CIO are now inviting bids for their third major grant: they hope to make a single grant of £20,000 to be awarded by spring 2018 to a charity able to lead a significant project under the umbrella heading of Community Cohesion in Yorkshire in the lead-up to Brexit.
The project should be delivered in the year 2018/19, leading to a high profile conclusion on or shortly before 29 March 2019 when the UK is scheduled to leave the European Union under the Article 50 process. The project could focus on a particular age group – e.g. young people, older people or seek to work across age groups. They hope it would extend to a number of communities across the Yorkshire and Humber region (but anticipate that the focus may be on intense work in a few areas rather than thinly-spread initiatives across the whole region).
The deadline for applications is 31 January 2018, but those considering a bid are encouraged to make contact before that date for a preliminary discussion.
