Volunteer Opportunities with Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group

The Butterflies Memory Loss Support Group is a local charity supporting people with memory loss and their families.

They are looking for a volunteer chef/cook with experience, to prepare the food for their Monday Men’s Luncheon Club.  8.30 am to 1.30 pm

Bus attendant

They are also looking for a bus attendant who can meet the bus and assist with collection of members who attend the Monday Men’s Luncheon Club.  The hours would be approximately 9.00 am (depending on where and what time the first pick up is) to 2.30 pm.

Main tasks will be to collect members on the community transport, then help out with the activity at the session, before returning the members to their homes on the bus.

For both roles, you will join a fun loving team of enthusiastic volunteers, with training opportunities to further your experience.  We pay travel expenses (the cost of a day rider) and a meal at the session.

You will need a DBS which we can do for you, you will also be required to attend our in house dementia training, with an opportunity to take further training with the Hull Dementia Academy.
