What do we do?

The Partnership Co-ordinators Project

This five year project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund, has four dedicated workers. Each specialises and focuses on specific themes: mental health, health and well being and physical, sensory and learning disability. The project is working hard to achieve outcomes for service users, carers, community groups and voluntary sector organisations working across Hull, East Riding, North and North East Lincolnshire.  The aim is to ensure that beneficiaries have the ability to participate in decision making processes that affect them, developing critical links, co-ordination of communication, consultation and information sharing protocols. Additionally the project aims to work with their partners so that they can enjoy pro-active involvement in the formulation of strategy and policy in partnership with their statutory sector colleagues. We offer support to enable these networks to enjoy inter-active and intra-active representation. Consequently, believing that the projects beneficiaries will become better informed on local, regional and national issues, particularly in regard to service commissioning and delivery.
