East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS)
(Until March 2007 - ERVAS now operates as an independent organisation)
ERVAS is a new local development agency providing the support and development needs of voluntary and community groups in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
ERVAS was a North Bank Forum project, funded by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and it’s boundaries are co-terminous with those of the Council.
ERVAS is contracted to provide the full range of services expected of a local development agency, including advice about good practice and policy and law as it relates to the voluntary and community sector. It also provides a volunteer bureau service and a funding advice service.
ERVAS is an active partner with voluntary and statutory sector agencies who are addressing health and social care, environmental and regeneration objectives.
