Sport for You

The Daily Telegraph, in partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland, has launched a new grants programme to support community and amateur sports clubs across the country.

Five grants of up to 1,000 will be awarded on a monthly basis.

For the next two years, community and amateur sports clubs such as village cricket clubs, the lawn bowls clubs, badminton club, amateur boxing clubs, etc, will be able to apply for a £1,000 Amateur Sports Clubs Grant package.

The funding can be used for a wide range of purposes such as improving facilities, setting up tournaments, etc.

To apply for the grant, clubs need to submit an application of no more than 250 words explaining why your community sports club needs a £1,000 grant and what you would use it for.
