Local Funding:
The Carers Initiatives Fund
What is the fund?
The Carers’ Initiatives Fund was set up to promote informal local initiatives to support Hull carers. Local groups and staff in the caring services can apply for money for projects which aim to support Hull carers.
How much can be paid?
Within any financial year the fund can offer up to £1,000 per organisation or a maximum of £100 per caring family if applying for holiday breaks. The money may come from one or several applications made to the fund.
What can the money be used for?
The primary object of the fund is to support carers in Hull.
It can be used to meet the expenses of a small local scheme, project or holiday break that benefits carers.
Other projects or schemes will be considered and decided upon merit
