Briefing On The Munro Review Of Child Protection
Professor Munro’s Review of Child Protection, following two earlier interim reports, was presented to Ministers on 11.5.11. The recommendations are far-reaching and are likely to have significant impact on the delivery of child protection services.
The report features: Serious Case Reviews, early intervention, role of Ofsted and reforms to the health economy all feature, with a shift away from central prescription towards individual discretion in local decision making.
Quality assurance measures strongly focused on providing the very best outcomes for children.
