Important information - Safeguarding Adults alerts/referrals

This is effective from 3 October 2011 – please ensure all staff in your organisation are informed and partnership organisations as appropriate.
Please ensure all recently issued Safeguarding Adults leaflets are also amended to this effect for staff reference.
The referral process by email (socialservicessafeguardingserviceadults@hullcc.gov.uk) to the Safeguarding Adults team is being revised with immediate effect.
This means the above email must not be used to send personal or sensitive patient/service user details on an alerter/referral form.
If you wish to make a safeguarding referral you should ring the Safeguarding team on 331566 to discuss your concerns and they will advise you accordingly.
Future Board publications will be appropriately revised to reflect forthcoming amendments
